Can I take a pushchair and car seat on Condor?
Yes. Condor lets you check in 2 child items when you travel with an infant: pushchair or buggy, car seat, travel cot. You still carry them through both airports, check them in at the check-in desk or the boarding gate and collect them from the baggage belt (or at the aircraft door at some airports) in Heraklion.
How far can I take the pushchair on Condor?
A pushchair or buggy is one of the two baby items each child can bring, with no advance registration. You can push your child to the boarding gate, where it is loaded into the hold. On arrival it is often returned at the aircraft door, but not every airport can do this, so it may come back in the baggage hall. Joggers, bicycle trailers and fold-up wagons are not accepted.
Can my baby use a car seat on board Condor?
A car seat can be one of the two items and travels in the hold. To use it on board, the child needs their own booked seat, and the car seat must be approved (for example ECE R44, FAA or Transport Canada) and no wider than 43 cm. Car seats go in window seats, not in or next to emergency exit rows, and the crew can move an unsuitable seat to the hold.
What is the easiest way to fly Condor to Crete with a baby?
Fly light. Holiday Stork has your stroller, car seat, travel cot and high chair cleaned, checked and waiting in the arrivals hall at Heraklion Airport, fits the car seat in your rental car and collects everything before you fly home. No bag drop queues, no folding at security and no waiting at the baggage belt with a baby in your arms.
Where do I collect rented baby gear in Crete?
Holiday Stork meets you in the arrivals hall at Heraklion Airport or delivers to your hotel or villa anywhere in Crete.
